 Village Park Eco Home

The goal of the Village Park Eco Home is to demonstrate how homeowners and builders can take the next step in living and building in a fiscally and environmentally sensible manner. The home will be zero net-energy ready utilizing building science practices to achieve a healthy, high-performance home with minimal impact on the environment.

Built by Wayne Atkins, Sterling Brook Custom Homes,  the Village Park Eco Home fits comfortably across from its namesake, Village Park in Highland Village, TX.

The contemporary Hill Country design, offers a 3,278 sq. ft. first floor 4 bedroom, 3 bath, open-plan house with a formal dining room and study. There is an additional 474 sq. ft. of flexible space along with a powder room on the second floor.

Througout the project, we will make videos and take photos so that everyone can see the building process and learn about the products we are using.  The videos will be posted on the Village Park Eco Home website.  Additionally we will keep followers up to date on the Village Park Eco Home facebook page, Twitter, Pinterest, and Instagram.

Of course, we will also let you know what's happening on our radio show.

Do you love natural daylight in your home?  Do you have a great view?  If so, here is good news from our Milgard sponsor.  They now have new MILGARD« MOVING GLASS WALL SYSTEMS.

According to Milgard, "This innovative solution blurs the line between inside and out of the question. Aspirational yet realistic, this sliding wall seamlessly transitions between dreams and reality."

Now you can expand your living space through 12 standard sizes in 3- and 4-panel con?gurations. Plus enjoy the outstanding service, support and design you've come to expect from Milgard," they added.

We invite you to contact Milgard or a Certified Milgard Dealer for more information.

Is your heating system ready for cold weather?
